Why Tango for Two Exists

You are ready. The timeline should not make you wait.

When you want to grow your family, “come back next year” can feel like an eternity. You deserve the chance to understand your hormonal, metabolic, nutritional, thyroid, and reproductive health before more months pass.

This is not about rushing. It is about replacing uncertainty with information and a plan.

A Couple-Centered Baseline

It takes two to tango.

Fertility is not one-sided. Tango for Two evaluates both partners with comprehensive lab work, then gives you a personalized plan with Dr. Jennifer Redmond, CNP, DNP, MSCP.

We recommend completing the bundle together so Dr. Redmond can see the fuller picture. Your female and male fertility bloodwork is coordinated through The Sonography Studio, then reviewed together to guide personalized next steps.

Both partners’ hormonal, metabolic, nutritional, thyroid, and reproductive health can shape the path to pregnancy.

What the Labs Explore

The panels are designed to look beyond a basic screen and evaluate areas that can influence fertility.

Female

Pituitary, thyroid, ovarian and adrenal hormones; insulin and metabolic markers; nutrient and micronutrient status; autoimmune screening; and ovulation indicators.

Male

Testosterone and related hormones; pituitary, luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone balance; thyroid and metabolic markers; nutrient status; and factors that may influence sperm production and function.

The final laboratory order matches Dr. Redmond’s current protocol.

How It Works

Exactly What Happens After You Say Yes

  1. 1

    Purchase the $900 bundle.

One purchase covers both partners' initial lab fees, blood draws, and the results review and plan.

  2. 2

Tell us when period day 1 begins.

The female partner's draw is scheduled for cycle day 3, 4, or 5. Day 1 means the first day of full menstrual flow.

  3. 3

    Complete both blood draws.

We recommend coming together. The male draw is not cycle-day dependent, so the studio can coordinate timing when needed.

  4. 4

    Meet with Dr. Redmond.

She reviews both partners' results and creates a personalized plan based on what the labs show.

Questions, Answered

Before You Ask

Do we have to wait six or twelve months?
No. Tango for Two is designed for couples who want to begin understanding and optimizing their fertility now, including those preparing to start trying.
Why do you recommend testing both partners?
Fertility is shared. Testing both partners gives Dr. Redmond a more complete baseline and helps keep the plan from focusing on only one side of the equation.
When should the female partner have blood drawn?
On cycle day 3, 4, or 5. Cycle day 1 is the first day of full menstrual flow. Contact us that day so we can coordinate the correct draw window.
Do we have to come together?
We recommend it because the service is designed around both partners. The male blood draw is not cycle-day dependent, so the studio can coordinate timing if a shared visit is not possible.
Is a semen analysis included?
No. The initial bundle includes male fertility bloodwork, not semen analysis. If Dr. Redmond recommends semen testing after review, it is coordinated separately.
Who reviews our results?
Dr. Jennifer Redmond, CNP, DNP, MSCP, reviews the couple's results and develops a personalized plan. The Sonography Studio serves as the local hub for the lab-draw experience and care coordination.
Does this include treatment?
The $900 bundle includes the initial labs, blood draws, results review, and plan. Additional testing, medications, supplements, treatment, imaging, repeat labs, or referrals are separate if recommended.
Does this guarantee pregnancy?
No. Fertility depends on many individual factors. This service is designed to provide a more complete baseline and personalized next steps; it cannot guarantee conception or a specific timeline.
