• Gender Reveal Basic: 2D imaging. 15 minutes. 
• Gender Reveal Deluxe: 2D-5D imaging. 30 minutes.
• Prime Time: All ultrasounds in the “Prime Time” category come with 2D-5D imaging.

    • Premium: 45 minutes (this scan is reserved for twins/triplets)

Because ultrasounds are completely noninvasive, there’s no extensive preparation required for your ultrasound in Sioux Falls.

To get the most out of your session, drink a gallon of water daily for the three days leading up to it. While you might need more bathroom breaks, the extra fluids will help your baby and give us better ultrasound images.

We also want to warn you that a BMI of over 35, anterior placentas, and low amniotic fluid are all factors that can hinder image quality.

Gender reveal packages are available during your ultrasound in Sioux Falls at The Sonography Studio. You can find out your baby’s gender after 14 weeks of pregnancy with a sonogram—or! as early as 6 weeks with a blood test.

The gender reveal appointment includes an ultrasound where we’ll show you live images of your baby to determine their gender. Wanna keep it under wraps? We’ll give you a sealed reveal envelope to open when you’re ready.

• Gender Ultrasound Rules: If we cannot see the gender of your baby due to multiple factors, you can come in again at no charge within 2 weeks of the original scan and we will try our best to confirm.
• Prime Time Ultrasound Rules: If we cannot get a good picture of your baby’s face between 27-32 weeks, you can come back for what we call “See Your Baby Maybe”. This means you can come back again at no charge within 2 weeks of your original scan and we will try to obtain better imaging, but it is not guaranteed. If you are <27 weeks, or >32 weeks, this rule does not apply, even if we aren’t able to obtain good images.

Anytime Peace of Mind and Prime Time scans can be done ANYTIME throughout the pregnancy. It all depends if you want black-and-white imaging versus new technology.
